This website has been live for one year atleast but I haven’t got the time to start a blog and share my work in progress, passion projects, thoughts on design etc. But lately, I decided to start ‘clogging’ and I wanted to share the thinking behind and tthe creative process here on this blog. Sometimes, even when nobody reads it, a daily thing like posting something on your blog makes you push yourself to create art beyond your work. Art that is truly yours and really express your inner pure self. That was the idea behind ‘clogging’, an almost daily process of creating cartoons that describe a moment in a day. Something like a diary or a vlog, but instead of videos, I use cartoons. And through that little game, I get to experiment and find new vibrant creative voices that can shake my creative safe zone.
So the first one is “Cycling with a flat tire”. As I was mounting the bike to go home, I noticed the flat tire. I was too bored to cover all the distance on foot and decided to ride the bike back home.I thought that cycling with a flat tire is like living a life with a problematic marriage: it makes rolling harder, it destroys the rim and makes you feel very unsecure.
This happened during the weekend where I had to teach myself plumbing and went to fix some water pipes in my old grandparents house one the mountain (leaks in 9 places!).
I had a fight with my girlfriend resulting me eating alone my spaghetti. I don’t like how spaghetti tastes after a fight 🙁
My girlfriend hates needles but she had to do some blood exams yesterday and she asked me to go with her in the examination office. She was brave! Our new raincoats performed great under the heavy rain btw.
